CREW Utah Awards Local Scholarships

Crew Utah is pleased to announce Ashley Atkinson, Amanda Dillon and Molly Jones, all graduate students at the University of Utah, as recipients of the 2018 CREW Utah Elevate Scholarships.  These $5,000 scholarships are made possible by Kip Paul with Cushman & Wakefield Commerce, Cottonwood Partners and Dakota Pacific Real Estate Partners, Roderick Realty Services, and Newmark Grub ACRES to support the advancement, achievement, and success of women in commercial real estate. In addition to the scholarships, each recipient will receive a CREW Utah student membership.
 

Ashley works in commercial development for Sequoia Development and is beginning her second year of the Master of Real Estate Development program at the University of Utah. She graduated from the University of Utah with a BS in Honors Finance in 2013 and spent five years working in business development and commercial real estate lending for Bank of American Fork. Ashley currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Salt Lake Home Builders Association and has previously served on the Salt Lake Parade of Homes Steering Committee. 

Amanda is a master’s student in the Department of City and Metropolitan Planning at the University of Utah and research assistant at the Metropolitan Research Center. Prior to her current studies, she worked in the nonprofit sector for six years in New York City. Prior to that role, she consulted with Berkley Research Group; served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Mauritania and Mozambique; and taught art education to inner-city youth in Southern California through Arts Bridge.

Molly has been passionate about real estate her entire life. She is currently pursuing her MRED at the University of Utah, and graduated from the University of San Diego with a Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate and Business. Molly was featured as one of Utah Business Magazine's 20 in their 20's for her real estate sales performance and involvement in the industry. She is also working as a Project Manager for Sentry Financial's Real Estate division, working on townhouse developments and facilitating a vision for the transformation of the Granary district into an innovation district.
