Brooke Harper

03 August 2017

Brooke Harper attended Brigham Young University and graduated in 2010 in Home and Family Living with an emphasis in Interior Design and a minor in Landscape Management Design. Unsure of what she wanted to do as her future career, she worked for a computer software company, Imagine Learning, as a sales coordinator and learned about strategic sales. She then served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in San Antonio Texas. It was while she was there she realized how much she wanted to be an interior designer. Upon her return, she researched the industry and decided to go back to school to obtain a second bachelor’s degree. This fall will be her senior year at Weber State University where she will graduate in a double major of Interior Design and Professional Sales. Brooke currently works at MHTN Architects as an interior design intern and serves on the Weber State Interior Design Chapter as the IDEAL student representative and is a member of IIDA, NKBA and NASP. She has also been able to do internships with FFKR Architects and Silver State Inc. She recently went on a study abroad to Europe where she saw the historical architecture and design. Brooke loves to serve and truly wants to make an impact on people’s lives for good.

“People spend around 80% of their lives in buildings. Effective interior design can help patients in hospitals heal faster, it can help businesses run more efficiently, and help people find peace, solace, and comfort from the troubles of the world in their homes. Design has the power to change outcomes emotionally, physically and mentally.”

Brooke also loves to travel, scuba dive, dance, sing and spend time with her family and friends. Her favorite role in life is being an aunt to her adorable niece and nephew.
