Come learn about Millcreek's new City Center project at our lunch and learn. Millcreek is building an amazing plaza space with an ice skating ribbon, Pizza Nono's second location, and many more amazing features.

Lunch will be provided.

Come learn more about the project and walk the site!

Wear construction site appropriate shoes and clothing. Bring hard hat if you have one!

This event is $30 for CREW Utah members and $50 for nonmembers.

CREW member , Josie Showalter graduated from BYU with a bachelor’s degree in music with a vocal emphasis, and is pursuing a master’s degree in public administration from SUU.  She has worked for the public sector and non-profits over the past 9 years. Josie currently works for Millcreek in the Economic Development Department. Millcreek is the newest incorporated city in Utah, with a plethora of development possibilities. As part of the Economic Development team, Josie works with developers, property owners, business owners, and other such parties every day. Josie is currently the Millcreek Business Council Liaison. The Millcreek Business Council functions similarly to a chamber of commerce for local Millcreek businesses. She loves the opportunities to work with many wonderful people every day! A fun fact about Josie is that she is also a member of the Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square.  

Mike Winder has worked in both the public and private sector in Economic Development. After receiving a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from the University of Utah in history and an MBA, Mike worked as the Business Development Manager for West Valley from 2000-2004. During this period he also was the chair of the Chamber West Economic Development Committee. In 2004 he left West Valley City to work as the Vice President of Marketing for Winder Farms until 2009. He served as the Mayor of West Valley City between 2010 and 2014. In 2014 Mike became the Director of Entrepreneurship Programs for Zions Bank. In 2017 before he left Zion’s Bank he was elected to be a legislator for West Valley City, a position he still serves in. After his career at Zions Bank, Mike became the Economic Development Director at Millcreek in, Utah's newest city, and was just recently promoted to Assistant City Manager.
