The CREW Utah Scholarship Committee is excited to launch the 2023 Scholarship Season!
This year we will be continuing the expanded scholarship opportunities which offers funding to active CREW Utah members who are furthering our mission by skilling up and breaking the glass ceiling! These are in addition to our annual Elevate Scholarship for current students in a Real Estate related degree program.
The Catalyst Scholarship will award one CREW Utah Committee Chair selected by the CREW Utah Board of Directors an amount up to $2,500 to attend the annual CREW Convention hosted September 20-22 in Atlanta, Georgia.
The Ignite Scholarship will award up to two active CREW Utah members an amount up to $2,500 each for completion in a course or program that would contribute to professional development and assist in “skilling up” and “breaking the glass ceiling.”

Ignite Scholarship
The CREW Utah Ignite Scholarship is up to (2) scholarships of up to two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500) each. The scholarship under this program is awarded to individuals that meet the criteria and are selected by the CREW Utah Scholarship Committee. In alignment with the strategic objectives of CREW Utah and CREW Network, it is designed to assist women who are engaged members of CREW Utah in furthering their professional goals and assuming executive and leadership positions in the commercial real estate industry.
To be eligible for the Ignite Scholarship, candidates must:
- Be ACTIVE members of CREW Utah
- Be members of the commercial real estate community in Utah and aiming to further their career
- Show acceptance into the proposed course(s)
Evaluation Criteria:
- Goals and views regarding the commercial real estate industry and the role of women in CRE.
- Performance and history in professional pursuits.
- Goals to advance career and explanation for how selected class/program may further these goals.
- Desire to be involved in the community and the CREW Utah organization.
- Leadership skills and alignment to furthering the mission and vision of CREW Network and CREW Utah.
- Impact on career trajectory.
- Preference may be given to courses provided by a qualified education institution.
As a condition of the scholarship award, recipients (i) must attend the CREW Scholarship Gala and (ii) will present at the annual CREW Scholarship Luncheon to share about their experience and goals and (iii) provide proof of completion of the selected, approved program.

Elevate Scholarship
This is a local scholarship presented by CREW Utah (Commercial Real Estate Women), the local chapter of CREW Network. This is a purpose-specific scholarship available to women interested in pursuing a career in a qualified field in the commercial real estate industry. Scholarship winners will be given the opportunity to network with the most dynamic and successful industry professionals.
Scholarship Award:
- Up to $5,000.00. Must be applied to future tuition only and used within the calendar year of award. There may be several recipients of the scholarship award as determined by the CREW Utah Elevate scholarship committee.
- CREW Utah student membership
- Fees waived for the monthly CREW Utah lunches
- Lunch with CREW Utah board members
Eligibility:
- Minimum cumulative GPA 3.0
- Must be a female
- Intent to pursue a career in the commercial real estate industry
- Recipients are students who demonstrate academic excellence and financial need
- Junior, senior, or graduate student enrolled in a Utah university/college

- Goals and views regarding the commercial real estate industry and the role of women in CRE.
- Performance and rigor in academic and professional pursuits.
- Desire to be involved in the community and the CREW Utah organization.
- Leadership skills and alignment to furthering the mission and vision of CREW Network and CREW Utah.

- Two letters of recommendation, including one from either a faculty member or current/past employer
