Amy VanderVeur has been in various sales positions in the flooring industry for 14 years. While the Flooring Department Supervisor at Home Depot in Park City, Utah, Amy was part of the Women in Leadership training and started Do-It-Herself workshop nights, where once a month she taught women how to use various power tools and make different items like lamps, candle sticks, and picture frames.
In April 2021, Amy began working as a Sales/Account Manager at Diversified Flooring shortly before it merged with DFS Flooring that July. DFS Flooring is one of the top four largest flooring contractors in the United States, selling and installing carpet (broadloom and tile), vinyl, Vinyl Composition Tiles (VCT), sheet goods, wood flooring, rubber flooring, and more. Providing flooring products and installation to the Intermountain West as well as nation-wide, DFS Flooring's projects range from small commercial tenant improvements to large hospitals, high-end hotels, and other commercial projects. Amy lives in Salt Lake City, Utah with her husband, who is a General Contractor.
