Commercial Real Estate Loan Officer Wendy Leonelli graduated from the Stonier Graduate School of Banking via a virtual ceremony on June 12.

“The purpose of Stonier is to prepare today's banking leaders for tomorrow's opportunities by providing the nation's premier executive education program," according to Stonier's website. “This develops the skills for effectively recognizing and handling high-level business issues through the industry's most thorough and rigorous curriculum."

Typically, Stonier's rigorous curriculum takes three “years": Launching Your Leadership Experience, Applying Leadership Skills to Team Performance and Risk Management, and Becoming a Leader in Your Organization. Leonelli participated in the accelerated program, which allows students to complete the curriculum in two consecutive years versus three.

Leonelli started working for Zions Bank in 2010. Having worked in both operational and production capacities, she is currently responsible for the growth and management of a $200 million loan portfolio of affordable housing, assisted living and retail properties.

In addition to the diploma she will receive from Stonier, she holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Northern Arizona University and real estate appraisal and sales licenses.
